One thing printmakers like…process. If I’ve realized anything about printmaking it would be that its practitioners, young and old are innovators. Finding new ways to redefine the media for themselves. It so happens that these young innovators are using the process in outrageous ways that border on a hybrid form of printmaking and performance art. Whether, screen printing on pancakes or competing for printmaking supremacy in Jenny LeBlanc and Kyle Bravo’s Face Off , these printers are making us laugh and allowing everyone to enjoy the freedom of the media.
