Molloy believes that teaching is the most basic form of social activism. As a result of this philosophy, she has directed public outreach programs for underserved youth in New York, Georgia, and Ohio. She lectures about her collaborations and individual work throughout the country in colleges and universities, as well as at education and art based conferences. She is currently directing a program for the Studio Museum in Harlem.
