Digitizing is the process of transforming your artwork into a .dst or digitized file. This file acts as a stitch blueprint, allowing the embroidery machines to accurately follow the design—indicating where to stitch, change thread colors, tie off, and more.

Embroidery pricing is determined by stitch count, as more stitches require more time to complete. Unlike screen printing, costs are based on the number of stitches rather than the number of colors.

The stitch count for hat logos typically ranges from 3,000 to 20,000 stitches, 

Our embroidery machines can accommodate up to 15 thread colors. If your design requires more, we will review the file and explore options—whether it’s adjusting the color count or finding alternative solutions to achieve the best result.

Max sizing on hats will be limited to the size of the hat itself but our hoops can accommodate designs up to 3.5" tall x 5" wide. Also available are specialty hoops that can embroider up to 12" wide for wrap around logos and text - limited to 2.5" tall.

For optimal results, we recommend letters be at least 1/4" (14pt) in height. Bold, thick, block-style fonts work best for embroidery.
